History of Exir China
Exir China was established 2006 Wuxi, the highly developed area around the Yangtze River Delta outside of Shanghai from which the first locally manufactured products were delivered to Sweden.
In 2007, a long-term contract regarding Contract Manufacturing was signed with a well-known company within the Meditech industry
To be able to meet the requirements from the Customer, we certified the unit according to ISO 9000:2000, which furthermore was upgraded to ISO 9000:2008 two years later. In addition, in 2008 Exir signed another agreement with a Customer concerning both product development and manufacturing of Industrial air cleaning equipment. During the following years, Exir initiated cooperation’s with several partners within the segments of, amongst others, automotive, agriculture and sauna equipment. The expansion led to that we once again merged into new facilities outside of Wuxi in 2010, where we today are a team of 130 employees in a factory of 8500 m2.
During the past years, Exir China has received additional certifications such as ISO 14000 and ISO 13485 as well as the factory has been ETL- and FDA approved. Today we are a global supplier of electromechanical products that are delivered to our Customers worldwide and Exir is now represented with Operations in Wuxi, China and with Marketing based in Sweden.
